Salvation

SALVATION

Experience Life, Love, and Grace in Jesus

At Faith, we believe that there is much more to this life than what meets the eye. We believe that God created everything in this world, including you and that Jesus truly loves you where you are at, no matter your situation or your past. Salvation is as simple as saying yes to Jesus and placing Him has the leader of your heart and life. We pray that you will step into the grace that Jesus has given each one of us and follow him.

Salvation Is the Start of a Relationship

Salvation is so much more than securing a place in Heaven: it’s the start of a vibrant, purpose-filled life with God right here and now. When we choose to follow Jesus, we’re surrendering control and admitting that life on our own isn’t enough. It’s saying, “I trust You, Jesus, to lead my life.” The beauty of salvation is that it’s a gift. A gift completely undeserved and freely given. And because it’s a gift, it cannot be lost. Romans 8:38-39 reminds us that nothing, no force in all of creation, can separate us from God’s love once we belong to Him: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Common Questions

Salvation is God’s gift to you. It’s not something you can earn or achieve by “getting right.” When you trust in Jesus' sacrifice for your sins and commit to following Him, you are saved. As Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Salvation is just the beginning of a lifelong journey with God. After making the decision to follow Jesus, you’ll grow spiritually through prayer, reading the Bible, and connecting with a church community. You’ll also experience the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit to live a purpose-filled life.

Everyone needs salvation. God’s heart is for every person to have a relationship with His Son.
As 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us: “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Repentance is more than feeling sorry for sin—it’s a decision to turn away from sin and align your life with God’s will. It’s a heart transformation that begins with acknowledging your need for forgiveness and leads to a changed life. (Acts 3:19)

At our church, we believe that salvation is secure as long as you remain in faith. However, a deliberate rejection of God or turning away from Him can lead to a loss of salvation. We encourage every believer to stay rooted in their faith. (Hebrews 6:4-6)

Ready to Begin Your Relationship with Jesus?

Romans 10:9 says it clearly: “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
You can speak to Jesus in your own words or pray this prayer:
"Jesus, I know I’ve missed the mark, and I need You. I believe You died and rose again to save me, and I choose to follow You. I give You my past, my present, and my future. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me new life. Amen."
From this moment forward, you’re never alone. Jesus promises to walk with you every step of the way, giving you His Spirit to guide you and connecting you to a God who loves you unconditionally.
